Grants Management and Compliance

Bronner draws from its extensive grants management knowledge and experience to help governments navigate policies and requirements corresponding to their respective grants management lifecycles.

Since its founding, Bronner has focused on the design, implementation, management, and evaluation of governance and operating structures across the public sector and non-profit organizations. On the cutting edge of developing grants management solutions for state and local governments and nonprofits, Bronner builds accountability frameworks, creates policies and procedures, develops grants management handbooks, conducts compliance assessments, and designs and reviews internal control systems.

The grant process is a linear lifecycle with three main phases: pre-award, award, and post-award. At each phase, Bronner engages with multiple departments within an organization and assists with key activities and policies.

During the pre-award phase of the grants management lifecycle, organizations prospect and identify potential opportunities, and develop proposals. Bronner advises organizations on identifying and prioritizing grant opportunities in alignment with organizational goals, creates systems to monitor and track opportunities, and supports the proposal-writing process through grant writing and advisory services.

When an organization receives notice of grant award, they work with their funder to negotiate terms and execute grant agreements. These services are complemented by Bronner’s ability to provide strategic advice, develop policy, and create systems for consistent and accurate grant reporting.

Finally, in the post-award phase, Bronner not only supports organizations in expending awarded funds to achieve designated outcomes, but also in complying with funding guidelines and requirements.
