CHICAGO,
November 5, 2004—Chicago-based Bronner Group, LLC (“BRONNER”)
was awarded a contract with the School District of Philadelphia (SDP)
Human Resource Department to conduct an operational assessment that
will focus on evaluating the current state of policies and procedures
in place to support SDP in implementing a suitable and successful employment
of its teacher and teacher support population.
In keeping with the SDP CEO’s vision of streamlining operations, improving
customer service, and enhancing efficiencies, SDP has committed itself
to implementing extensive reforms with in the Human Resources Department.
A key first step in implementing those reforms is to gain a better
understanding of the recruitment, hiring and placement process of its
teachers and support staff. BRONNER will develop a high-level timeline
for teacher hiring, recommendations for streamlining the process and
project plan for implementing the procedures.
