Gila Bronner appointed to serve on NASA Financial Audit Committee |

Ms. Bronner is highly respected by government lawmakers and regulators as an expert on auditor independence and related internal control issues and is a nationally recognized authority on governmental auditing, compliance and oversight. Throughout her distinguished career, Ms. Bronner has written and lectured extensively on the subjects of government resources, accountability, planning management and eGovernment, and is a recognized thought leader on public sector implementation and compliance issues associated with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act. Ms. Bronner has comprehensive experience as a board member and deep knowledge of institutional governance. She currently serves on numerous significant civic and professional boards, as well as having served on several independent oversight and advisory commissions, including the Illinois Local Government Advisory Board and the Illinois State Government Accountability Council. Pursuant to a Presidential appointment, Ms. Bronner serves as a member of the governing board of the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, D.C. Ms. Bronner presently chairs the Museum’s Audit Committee where she is oversees the implementation of relevant provisions of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act as applicable to public/private entities. Ms. Bronner has received numerous awards for her community and national service, including the “Top 10 most Influential People in Accounting” for two consecutive years by Accounting Today. Ms. Bronner was recently inducted into the 2004 Chicago Area Entrepreneurship Hall of Fame.
