Facilitation Services

Since 1987, Bronner has been facilitating executive meetings, strategic planning, brainstorming sessions, conflict resolution, and project management meetings. Utilizing proven facilitation methodologies, Bronner brings groups together to plan for the future, address difficult issues, and make collaborative decisions. In facilitating important meetings and related business processes, Bronner has been assisting clients identify solutions and strategies to problems and opportunities that achieve business transformation, streamlined operations, and overall organizational effectiveness. Facilitation can be used for individual meetings, group retreats, large public forums, and/or other group functions.

Executive Meetings and Strategic Planning

Bronner facilitates executive meetings and strategic planning engagements, whether weekend retreats or multiple sessions spread out during a long period. Our aim is to assist clients in clearly identifying and dealing effectively with the most pressing business strategy issues. This requires the design of agendas and management of meetings that maximize opportunities for the client participants to work together efficiently and creatively on the issues at hand. We facilitate several types of executive meetings and strategic planning projects, which include the following but are not limited to:

Problem Solving

Bronner provides facilitation services that focus on the identification, definition, and resolution of business issues and problems. Bronner has been facilitating numerous problem-solving sessions that result in practical solutions and collaborative arrangements. Bronner applies a basic problem-solving methodology:

  • Definition - Define, prioritize, focus, and analyze problems and issues;
  • Ideation - Generate creative and innovative ideas, approaches, and solutions;
  • Decision-Making - Establish and select the optimal possible decision (or portfolio of alternatives) based on selected evaluative criteria and decision-making tools; and,
  • Planning - Ensure that solutions are implemented.

The facilitator's role includes helping the participants identify and tackle issues, creating a non-threatening environment that allows all voices to be heard, promoting effective communication, and helping the group stay focused on their goals.

Resolving Disputes, Disagreements, and Divergent Views

Bronner consultants have been facilitating meetings and forums to resolve disputes, disagreements, and divergent views. Where there is an apparent impasse during meetings, Bronner creates venues and facilitates environments where meaningful dialogue would transpire. Our approach utilizes a basic framework with the following elements:

  • Establishing guidelines and mutually-beneficial agendas;
  • Creating a respectful environment and identifying discussion points that foster mutual trust and collaboration;
  • Ensuring enabling language (vs. inflammatory and accusatory language); and,
  • Promoting broad participation and support among participants, stakeholders, and key people.

Meetings Management and Documentation

Bronner provides a full spectrum of services relating to the success of meetings, presentations, and public forums. As part of Bronner's Meetings Management and Documentation services, the following are included:

  • Providing a draft for a permanent record;
  • Defining and refining the agenda;
  • Logistical meeting/conference support;
  • Recording discussion content and focusing decision-making;
  • Debriefing and overall meeting planning;
  • Convening and leading large and small group briefings and discussions; and,
  • Preparing draft and final reports.

Overall, Bronner consultants ensure that in facilitating meetings, conferences, forums, or dialogues, the following objectives are achieved:

  • Coordinated senior management effort to respond to identified challenges;
  • Clear business strategy based on broad consensus and participation;
  • Conflict resolution/management among executives to re-direct organizational efforts to more productive endeavors;
